Ben Smith from MBR Magazine headed down to visit us with Photographer Stefan Voitl last summer to do an exclusive story on our business and what made us take the plunge into creating our very own bespoke MTB location.
Ben had been down here the previous year as a guest on a Summer Riding tour with his mates, and saw the potential that the area had to offer for both the location and the back story to our journey.
Stefan is now becoming our regular photographer, when he has time off from being a Red Bull Action Sports Photographer, having been down a few times now taking photos for Bike Magazine and Freeride Magazine articles on our business.
We set aside a whole week in our Summer break to take the guys to all our favorite spots doing a great mix of early morning and sunset shoots to get the perfect photos for the article. Unlike most articles though, Ben was adamant on making this a real riding trip too, making sure he got the full experience all over again. Whether a sneaky way of getting in another riding holiday whilst ‘on the clock’ or not, it made for a full on week of early starts, late finishes, and some incredible results that ended in our very first full UK Cover and full 7 page article on the Business.
