Ian Robertson, budding amateur/professional photographer and on off guide when his shipping career allows came down last summer to sample what Ridgeline has to offer for our Summer Riding holiday.
Bringing down a full contingent of 12 fantastic riders and personalities, the week was documented in detail by Ian’s lens, which was a really nice and different take on a riding holiday. Everyone was fully behind the photography angle of the trip, and as the results were so good, Ian composed a short photo-story about his time here. This was swiftly picked up by PinkBike along with us using some of his excellent photographs on our website. The title picture you see here was also used as the cover shot of MTB Shots Calendar for the same year, and it was only later we realised that an Eagle was flying over Rich’s head, hence the title – ‘Where Eagles Dare’
